Jo’s first appointment after leaving Auckland Teachers’ College was to Oratia Primary. After 8 years there, she left to have a family. As her family have grown up, she has relieved in many schools in West Auckland and has also spent time overseas running an expat kindergarten. Jo has been involved at Immanuel since 1998 both as a teacher and a parent. Jo teaches 4 days per week and job-shares with Angela Goodwin.
Immanuel is a small friendly Primary and Middle School, with a family atmosphere, located in St Georges Road, Avondale, Auckland. We aim to provide a quality education, for Years 1-10, based on a Biblical worldview, with Christian principles and values. Our purpose is essentially to be an extension of Christian homes.
